Designed for a localized show at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, TN. The design was inspired by the Nashville skyline and it’s vibrant nightlife.
Atlanta band Cruise Director describes their sound "surfy, stony indie rock." Recently, I was given the honor of designing a show poster as well as the album artwork for their new single 'Hazy Days.' A product of their mellow sounds, both pieces were inspired by 1970's surf culture. The reflective imagery utilized scanned photos, typography, and negative space.

What started as designing an identity suite for their new farmers market, has manifested into a creative outlet. Working with Cedar Springs has not only taught me the importance of maintaining a brand, but how rewarding it can be to push that brand to new heights.
Located in Cedar Springs, Michigan, this eclectic brewery is known for their freshly crafted beverage and a flavorful meal from our sustainably sourced kitchen, featuring fresh pub fare and a traditional German Bavarian menu.
As a senior graphic design student at Auburn University, I proposed to create and brand a pop-up shop to promote the European band Glass Animal’s first US tour. The shop would be exclusive to the three Urban Outfitters found in Boston, Massachusetts, the final stop on the bands tour. Following true to pop-shop nature, the store will remain installed temporarily from August to October (the duration of the tour). This project focused primarily on the branding, packaging, illustration, and publication. Because the hypothetical shop would only be installed for a limited amount of time, its products would be treated as “limited edition” as well as a rerelease of the album. Not only would it of temporarily rebranded the band's debut album entitled Zaba, but also would of given fans a chance to purchase singles and LP’s that previously did not exist on vinyl. The store, would also offer illustrative artwork, an extended lyric book, tour posters and access to an exclusive mailing list.
Targeted towards music savvy millennials, Zaba: The Pop-Up Shop, would promote not only Glass Animals on-going tour, but would allow for the album and the music that lead up to it to be re-imagined in an illustrative and photographic manner. It was my hope that this pop-up shop would not only get music lovers interested in and excited about this upcoming band, but would underline the artistic nature of the vinyl revival and the artwork that goes into making a successful album.
You Are Here is a product of passion and self exploration as I traversed the first few years of my 20's. The images were taken a generation apart by myself during my time at Auburn University and by my best friends father during his time at University of Miami. They are meant to parallel one another visually and emotionally. The quotes are the wise words that have inspired me along the way.
